Movie Rating: R for Intense Violence, Strong Sexual Content, Language -- definitely not a movie for the family

Movie Reviewer: FishMonkey

Snack/Bathroom Break: Anytime - this movie is awful!

Review:

The plot of the movie seems simple: Classic bad guy trying for world domination, and classic good guy framed by bad guy just trying to get home and back to his family. However, they managed to screw up such an easy plot!
Although action starts off right away with military-like battles, the story really doesn't develop until 30-40 minutes into the movie. Needless to say, the beginning of the movie is a little confusing and hard to follow. Some fighting scenes are OK, but nothing spectacular. A lot of the sexual content and nudity could have been deleted because it really doesn't contribute to the movie's plot. Seemed so gratuitous that it detracted from the movie.
Lots of famous actors and actresses are in this movie, so maybe I was expecting too much. However, I went with my 20 year old neice and 17 year old nephew, neither of which could follow or enjoy this movie. Overall, we gave this movie a bad rating. Not sure I'd even spend the money to rent this one.
